Wembley Stadium park or ride?
I'm going to the American Football this Sunday at Wembley and am travelling down from Scotland, staying in Milton Keynes and was planning on travelling into London then out To Wembley, done this last year, however, there are some engineering works this weekend, and I'm tempted to just take the car to Wembley and park it there, I have seen there isn't alot of parking but can get secure place for £25, there are two of us and will probably cost around £40 to get train tickets etc, where I reckon I can drive into Wembley alot easier, of course we would miss all the wonders of the centre of London, and the Hard Rock Cafe!
Any hints or tips would be great.

On Sunday, drive into London, park on a single yellow at say Baker Street which is free, take the tube to Wembley (pay a £3 deposit on an Oyster) and the fare is £3 return and then drive out again Sunday evening.
Probably a few places near Wembley where you could legally leave the car, but it's not the nicest part of town!0 -
There are plenty of parking available at wembley stadium, cost maybe about £10 per car. I have been to wembley stadium and arena for concerts many times and I have found some free parking places near the stadium. Not many people know this, there are a couple of private businesses nearby with off road parking. The businesses closed in the evening and weekends so one can park there.
One of the private business has a sign in the building 'unauthorised parking may be clamped', while the other business have no signs at all - so I parked there!
I managed to dig out the google map - the road I park at the business' premise is Fulton Road.0 -
You could drive down the M1 for MK to J4 (don't forget there are still roadworks around Luton) for Stanmore, leave the car at Stanmore and then get a tube to WembleyIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0
