Based on the beloved book by Theodore Seuss Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss) published in 1954, “Horton Hears a Who!” continues to be one of the most popular of children’s stories. The film, a new CG animated feature from the makers of “Ice Age”, sees Horton, an elephant, who hears voices that he knows are real. One day, Horton hears a cry for help coming from a speck of dust, which happens to be the home to the Whos who live in their city of Whoville. Horton swears to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbours who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. One nasty kangaroo played by Carol Burnett does not carry the speck’s best interests at heart and sets her sights on destroying the speck with the help of a menacing accomplice.
