Hello,

I will need to wire money from London to euro area and to emerging currencies. What is the cheapest way?

In some countries (A), wiring money from an account currency A in country A to currency B in country B costs more than wiring money within same bank in country A from local currency A to currency B (if possible to open),
then from that account B to final account currency B in country B.

e.g. create a EUR account in the UK bank. Do a in-bank currency transfer from GBP to EUR, then wire in EUR directly to another EUR account in a bank in the euro area? Is this true?
What about emerging currencies?

We're talking amounts like 3 to 4000GBP here...
