There are some nice ones in Land of Leather at the mo, ours is 5 years old from there and still looks good.

I would pay with a credit card though, just for some protection in this current climate.

Juts check the sofas with land of leather because unless you are buying one of the more expensive ones they are not 100% leather they are leather and leather match!!!

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. • We bought ours from Land of Leather, had it about six years now. Looks a bit grotty, but that's because we didn't exactly treat it the way we should and we've got a two year old.
Found them to be really good. When we moved we couldn't get it out of the house (it had been brought in in parts) we phoned them up, they knew what make and model it was and told us exactly how to take it apart!
  • Just bumping this up. I'm looking at Reid's (but have no store near me) as well as Baker and Stonehouse (again no store near me). Would it worth paying £2000 for sofas from the latter? I have 3 kids and one on the way and want a leather corner suite.

HI we got ours from furniture village and it is gorgeous BUT it is not leather! it is however a corner suite and they did have leather ones, we have had it almost a year now and still looks as good as new! we had a prob with the end cushion not being as puffy as id'e have liked and they replaced the whole suite! If not ikea.

I would steer clear of Harveys.

I would also steer clear of recliners.

We bought 2 x 2 seater sofas and a chair. Out of the five seats 4 collapsed after about 15 months the under frames broke.

This is despite being normal sized people and only 2 of us in the house.
    mainly.

I can't begin to tell the trouble we had trying to get them sorted out, so I won't. In the end my husband mended them himself.

Strangley enough we we have had them 4 years now and the leather looks as good as new but the framework along with Harveys let us down badly.

Hi we had our last one from Harveys and it was gorgeous and no probs at all. We had it for roughly 3 years and sold it when we moved here for a lot as it had kept so well (and it was cream!)..i would still take a look, everyone will at some point have have had a bad time with companys and it shouldn't put you off if there is something you like.
