Options advice please.

I currently have a Halifax One card with a balance of £0. And a Virgin card with £4800 at 0%, this ends on Feb 1st 06.

HSBC have offered me their card at 0% for 9 months but only with £3500 allowed to BT (no fee), which i will sign and post as soon as it gets here.

Do you think i will be able to get another 0% card to BT in Jan / Feb for the remaining £1300 ?

And should i cancel the Halifax card and the Virgin card when the 0% runs out ?

Impossible question to answer! Although £1,300 is not a lot is it?

Cancel Halifax ASAP to free up some available credit to maximise your chances of acceptance/reasonable credit limit when you make your next application.

Call Virgin to cancel when you've cleared the balance. Sometimes they will make you an offer to stay. If they don't close it down.

My main concern was the affect on my credit rating with the cancellations and applications.
