zavvi advice please

Hi all,
just wondered if anybody could advise me, i ordered a item from zavvi two weeks ago which i haven't recieved. I emailed zavvi and they replied that my item must be lost in transit, and would i like a replacement, emailed back that yes i would like a replacement.
I then got another email from them giving me a tracking number for parcel force, i entered the tracking number on parcel force sit and it is showing as sorted in hub?..... whatever that means.

My question is who should be tracking this item zavvi or myself, i thought it was down to the seller to track items, any advice would be appreciated.

  • Hi Fair maiden

Firstly only 2 weeks and there sending you a replacement is very good, usually you have to wait longer so smartie points to zavvi on that one. secondly the parcel force tracking number is there for your and the companys benefit allowing you to track the item (another good service) because this lets you know exactly where the item is. Finally the sorting in HUB refers to it location. and is midway thru it's delivery cycle. (the hub is a central distribution centre where parcels come in from the north as an example for delivery to the south. think of it as a wagon wheel with all the smaller depots delivering and collecting parcels to/from the hub). If it is in the Hub then theres a good chance you will receive it tomorrow. hope this was of help to you.

  • Hi Majortom,

Thank you for your info that certainly helps me, hopefully it will turn up tomorrow because on tracking site it has been sorting in hub since the 15th of oct, don't actually think i am getting a replacement now zavvi told me to track item and if they could be off any assistance to email them again.

Oh well here's hoping tomorrow brings my parcel.
    Thank you once again.

    Any sign of it?
"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

  • Nope no sign of it, am just waiting for parcel force to reply to my email.
