Virgin Credit Card Minimum payment

They can do what the heck they like. They are the ones lending you the money. If you don't like the change, close your account and go elsewhere.0

If you are in a 0% promotion period and are paying a fixed amount that is greater than the minimum then Virgin/MBNA are doing you a favour by only taking the minimum required.
As YB says the only action you need to take is go online and pay off the outstanding balance by debit card 3 working days before your 0% deal expires.

Agreed, Nigel. It is pretty pointless to take a 0% deal and pay anything other than the minimum. Better to keep the excess in an ISA or other high-rate account until the 0% period is about to expire.
I have £29k sitting on 0% at the moment.
And an equal and opposite amount earning 6.6%. 0 -
Ok, I see your point that this seems a hassle to have to set up, but can I just say one thing- in the time you have taken to discuss and explain it on here you could have sorted it out!mastermank wrote: »it's very easy tp see the change
- current situation i do nothing as i has set it up as such
new situation - check to see how much min payment is, deduct from my current monthly amount log on make payment log off each month.
can you guess which is easier for me? Do you want it broken down a little further?
the question is i've made adeqaute provision to pay my bill they have changed things to make things more awkward for me.
I'm not asking to be spoonfed i manage my money just fine thank you. I don't appreciate changes being made to benefot the compoany and not myself that could lead to other people losing out financially.

Seriously, I hope you get it sorted in a way that suits you but is it really worth such a fuss ?
