:xmastree: i have recently found out im paying 20quid a month in interest on my egg card! well i applied for an amazon card thinking i could transfer the balance but i got turned down. i believe this is due to a default on my credit rating (even though this has been paid years ago!)
does anyone know of any credit card with a decent bt rate that i would be able to get?
thank you for any help! :xmassign:

Unfortunately, if you have a default it will be hard to get a card with a decent APR. If worse comes to worse and you can't get anything else, Barclaycard have a card called Initial which is for people trying to rebuild their credit history. It has a high apr but they offer 6.9% for life on their balance transfers and I believe this facility is available to all Barclaycard customers (but you would have to clarify this).Mortgage-free wannabe!0
