What time does a BACS go in?

So I'm awaiting my first weekly pay cheque from my job and I know that they did the moneys on Tuesday and it should be paid into my account for Friday. Does anybody know roughly what time it gets paid into a Lloyds Account? Is it like midnight or earlier in the morning. I ask because I have no money whatsoever.... like AT ALL. I am hungry and I have no food in the house.
I am waiting for my mate to come over and hopefully be able to sponge some chips/noodles from her. She's a bit upset though so I'm not sure if I will try it though.

Usually midnight. Usually.
And if she's upset, try the line "would it make you feel better to go and get some nice junk food? Some chips maybe?"What would William Shatner do?0 -
It can depend. Most banks do thier transactions (SO & DD etc) at a quiet banking time, usually at midnight/1am, sometimes mine doesn't go thru til 2am friday morn.

I got food yayyy! Lots of it too! I'm wondering if I should bother waiting up to see if it goes in. Basically I have a trip planned tomorrow, I cannot, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES not go on it. I'm visiting my family for my nephew's 17th and my mum's (RIP) birthday. My dad's really down and I need to be there but I can't get there with no cash. Fingers crossedLloyds CC: £5150.73

It could come in at any time. When I was with Lloyds, they did some funny things with my pay; once it cleared at 11pm the day before payday, one other time it cleared in the middle of Sunday morning... it's quite unpredictable.0
