No-Claims Proof And Changing Insurance.

Because I shop around for the best deal I usually change my car insurance company every year. The new company usually requires proof of your no-claims history, and the reminder notice from your existing company will contain this information. I have just taken out insurance with the RAC and they did not ask for any no-claims evidence. Just to be on the safe side I rang the RAC and asked if they were just going to take my word for it. They said yes, the only time they would need proof will be when I make a claim. So I am filing away, in a safe place, the paperwork from my old company (which contains this information) so that if I have to make a claim I can lay my hands on it quite readily. I thought I would pass this tip on to anyone who is in the same situation.
