Was that tongue in cheek? I thought it was just rushed error; after I queried it I realised it was that. Cant see why you thought that was relevant in any way? Or may be we have different understanding of humour.0 -
Thats the problem isnt it - you enter a postcode for say Blackheath and up comes what looks fab buys until you use the mapping and its Kidbrooke or Lewisham in reality!
Make very good freinds with multimap
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

its not what it is , more what it isnt.
It isnt full of hoodies with staffs on chains. It isnt screaming sirens 24-7. It isnt somewhere youd be worried about walking the dog after dark. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

. I wouldn't pay 200k for a mid-terrace/no parking/no garden yet on one these programmes houses like that were 650k. I couldn't believe it. Imagine paying 650k and not being able to park! gutted
You can pay £15 million for a terrace with no garden or parking, if you like....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I can't believe house prices will ever fall that much in North London. I currently rent but if I wanted to buy a nice 2 bed flat in this area it would cost a minimum of £350,000. London prices in general are just ridiculous. I'm sure they will never fall to realistic prices (at least 50%) as all the people that paid £100,000s for their place are not going to sell at half the price, they will just wait for the markets to pick up. I seriously doubt that homes in London will ever be affordable for the majority of 1st time buyers like myself

Oh right. This again.0 -
2-bed 2-bath in Whetstone went for £140k last month. Small second bedroom, but still...
I'm watching houses around the £300k mark in Harrow, I anticipate getting one for about £220k in a couple of years if I decide on that direction. Otherwise a very nice flat in the N21 area for about the same money, or if I play it safe 2-bed 2-bath flats in E11 that were going for £220k at peak I'm planning on a generous offer around the £135k mark.Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0
