Resale value / car accident

I have just been a car accident where another car crashed into the back of my vehicle.
The insurance company has decided to give me the money for the value of the car (£370) as it would cost £1,400 to repair it. Personally I think the car is worth abit more than that.
Unfortunately I have research to find other cars which are the same type, if I want more money.. The only thing is I’m having difficulty finding three. Can anyone please help????
Car - Fiat Punto, R Reg (1998), 1.1engine size,152,000miles on clock
Help is much appreciated!!

Hmm, the large print does not help or make me want to do the donkey work for you I'm afraid.
Have you tried - Loot, Ebay and Autotrader? All 3 have pretty good search engines and should give you a fair selection.
In fact, there's 38 for sale on Ebay at the mo and 95 recently ended sales with final values - thats 1998 Fiat Punto's. I'll leave you to filter down through the results.0 -
Go to the newsagent and pick up an E&M and Autotrader.
Find similar examples - send to insurer0 -
Unfortunately for you, that is probably a reasonable "valuation" of a 10 year old 1.1 Punto with 152K on the clock. With a lot of effort, buying mags, searching internet, writing/arguing with insurers, you may, on a good day, get them to raise the pay out to £500.
You have to way up the effort for a (possible) £130 increase.
