Alright guys, thanks a bundle for all of you for your valuable comments. I contacted ebookers again. This time, I opted for the European flights option on the menu instead of farEast and I came into contact a surprisingly logical and helpful Indian lady, Chandra Devi (I remember her name because I left a positive feedback about her with her manager) who just sorted it out very quickly. She promised me to call me back after having a word with the airline and called me after 3 hours with the news that the airline has agreed to refund the money in full. I guess the customer services staff being trained for flight going to Europe are trained to be more helpful and positive as compared to others :cool:. Who knows !!!!0
