Can you clarify what you mean. You pay an administration charge for something admin related and you pay IPT on the premium. IPT is not an admin charge. It is tax.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

I got my renewal form which i pay by direct debit.
I don't pay any extra to pay by direct debit.
After listing the direct debit amounts month by month at the bottom it says
This price includes the cost of your insurance, administration and insurance premium tax of your policy.
I rang to query exactly what the administration fee was for( £16.88 apparently,)they seemed to saying it was to do with the insurance premium tax.0 -

Tax is not an admin fee. It is either an admin fee or it is IPT. It is not both.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). No ,I realise tax is not an adminisrtation fee.I have just rung them again, this time they have told me the £16 is the tax,not the admin fee, which makes sense.0
