Government robs terminally ill

If you are one of those people (like me) who currently receive Incapacity Benefit and have their Occupational Pensions disregarded because of the distinct nature of your disabilities you may be surprised to know that if and when you are transferred to the new Employment Support Allowance Support Group you will find your benefit reduced to zero.
This means that a number of people with severe disabilities and those who are terminally ill will be upto £84.50 a week worse off.

I cannot get any response from the DWP Minister on this !

You should know most people on Incapacity Benefit wont be transferred to Employment and Support Allowance, though some more able, newer claimants will be assesed. ESA is for any new claimants.
Just as when Severe Disablement Allowance was phased in, new claimants went on Incapacity Benefit, people already on SDA satyed on it and still are to this day if they have not stopped and reclaimed. Most people only claiming more recently wont even know what SDA is yet some people still get it. The same process is being follwoed with this phase out/in.

The DWP Minister is a waste of space - she was rubbish when she was approached by ex employees of a company that had been set up purely to scam disabled people out of their Access to Work payments. More than half the company's workforce were deaf and the other half visually impaired. The DWP minister was no help whatsoever:mad:

We contacted the Shadow DWP Minister Chris Grayling and he got his disability chap to raise it in Hansard Questions.

Maybe you should try the Shadow Minister instead because he is more helpful.
