    Thank you everyone

Well done faillteandy and Rylynn- it feels good doesn't it

I didn't realise how much my debts were affecting me emotionally until now- i'm actually happier today and i've spent the whole morning spring cleaning and ENJOYING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think i'll wait until the banks/debt collection people contact me then give them the good news haha

Barclays (my cash card account) have put a note on my file saying i've gone bankrupt but the lady i spoke to couldn't give me any information on what would happen to the account or when, even though the OR told me it would probably be left up to the bank to decide the fate of that account. I suppose i'll just wait and see.

Thank you everyone for the poisitive comments xx

Had the OR call at the end of last week- he said he didn't need to do an interview but had a couple of questions. He wasnted to know what my wages were before i went on maternity and how much my SMP was after that. He also asked about OH's wages and if i was looking for a new job. I explained that i only have experience as a retail manager and no-one wants to take me on weekends only. He didn't have a problem with any of my answers and he has said that i only need to contact them if i go back to work full time & that if i get a part time job they don't need to know about it- is this normal??

This morning i received some forms to fill in and return, but i have to wait until i received 'A Guide to Bankruptcy' before i can sign them (which they've assured me they're sending out today).

Is it normally this easy? I thought they would need copies of all my bank statements and all letters debt related that i've received. I'm not complaining or anything- i just feel like i've missed something here?!

Is it normally this easy? Your one of the lucky ones....a very rare breed that dont need an interview!...just means you've filled in your bankruptcy paperwork very very well & the OR can see with your history why you became insolvent...without dragging you in for an interview I thought they would need copies of all my bank statements and all letters debt related that i've received. They probably have enough information in your submitted paperwork not to need copies of statements etc...if they need anything they'll get themselves easily enough (or not..depending on how the creditor can be sending stuff back..they dont seem to take news well when they hear the word bankruptcy...oh dear!! :o) I'm not complaining or anything- i just feel like i've missed something here?!

Well done...try not to worry now "if" the OR needs to speak to you they will call...until then it'll be pretty quiet from now
