  • as karnam posted do ask midwife an estimate on baby size, my daughter arrived weighing 9lb 10 1/2 ounces and at 67cm was too long for 0-3 month baby clothes, so they all had to go back !! and the hand me downs i had blagged of my mates were also useless !!!

dont be proud, as a first time mum to my son i was horendous, and waisted money on things that were worn or used once, my poor daughter has bags of hand me downs and they are in fantstic condition.

defaintely recommend kiddicare and ebay !!

  • Hi Every1
I bought a cotbed, Travel system, a highchair and a rocker from Kiddies Kingdom, basically the whole lot. I experienced very efficient customer service and super speedy delivery arriving the next day.I found them on Kelkoo, finding out they were the cheapest there. there products were cheaper than both john lewis & Kiddicare. I was just amazed by their manner of dealing with customers, being updated personally by both text and email. if only all internet companies were like this. Ill definately be using them again if i further require baby goods. Why dont you give them a try.
    The website is https://www.kiddies-kingdom.com
    Hope this helps

  • I too recommend kiddicare.com and also the NCT sales i have sold my old baby items at one of the sales and they have really strict rules on what you can sell, all baby equipment has to have bse kitemark and the toys have to have CE kitemarks. They will not sell anything that is tatty ie worn clothes, everything is literally new or nearly new. Click here to find your nearest sale definatley worth going http://www.nct.org.uk/

Some things you will need to buy new like car seats and cot mattresses otherwise join freecycle

I belong to both our local ones and every week someone is passing on their baby equipment or items so ask there before you buy anything
