Wiring 2 lights off one switch - loft lighting

We currently have 1 lamp in the loft, on a rose fitting, that is controlled by a switch just inside the loft hatch.
The light receives its supply from a connection to the ceiling rose on the landing.
The light in the loft has been placed at one end and is therefore not providing sufficient light for the whole loft.
We want to add an additional rose in the loft, at the other end, controlled by the same switch, so that we have the 2 loft lights switching on and off as required.
Question is, how easy is it to wire the 2nd rose from the first and what connections are required, or would it entail something a little more complicated than this?

take a 1mm twin and earth cable from the existing rose to the new, connect the cable to the terminals that the lampholder flex comes out of.brown-brown,blue-blue,earth-earth.0

Just run a 1.5mm² twin & earth cable from the existing rose to the new one. connect the neutral cabe (Blue) to the neutral terminal in the existing (Holds Black or Blue cables),
The brown cable connect to the switch line terminal in the existing (Holds one black or blue cable marked with red or brown tape.... earth to earths0 -

2 slightly different suggestions, I understand the principles behind both but is one better or more recommended than the other ?
Both suggestions would appear to connect to the same terminal block in the existing light but to slightly different connections within those terminal blocks0 -
I have assumed your existing rose a BC Batten lamp holder and you may have existing red & black cable cores in your existing cables....use 1.5mm² T&E cable most houses have 1.5mm² not 1.mm² cable installed for lighting circuits0
