Amazon credit card

I registered for an Amazon credit card. My first statement arrived saying that 1500 loyalty points (for registering) had been added this month. Next line says they have been redeemed even though they haven't been. So I phoned the customer services number. The button pressing to get to loyalty cards takes you to a voice message telling you to email via the website. Couldn't find anything remotely helpful on the website. So I tried the phone again and spoke to someone. Unfortunately the real people don't deal with loyalty points so no luck there.

Has anyone any hints about how to contact Amazon?

I've always contacted them via the website, although you have to register. They have always replied within a couple of days.

My statement said the same, the amazon voucher was emailed a couple of days later

When your points reach 1500, they are knocked off your account and passed to Amazon who then email a voucher code for you to use on their site. I too was a little confused when it said my points had been "redeemed" - a quick email to Halifax Card Services and they put me straight.
