reclaiming after bankruptcy

Hi
The huge charges my bank levied against me played a huge part in me gettting behind in payments, incurring more charges and then spiralling into debt which I could not cope with - enforcing me to declare bankruptcy, a horrible thing to have to do.
Does anyone know if I can still claim charges back as I am trying to get back on my feet which is reeally hard!! even if the charges go to other creditors etc...
Any information would be helpful thanks!

I would claim under hardship, contact your bank and ask them to send u hardship forms. Fill them out asap and post back by recorded delivery. They have 8 weeks from receipt of your claim to make u an offer to decline the offer. If you are unhappy after 8 weeks complain to the FOS. good luckNo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
Did you pay the charges or include them in your bankruptcy?
If you do reclaim them and are successful do you get the money or does the Official Receiver have it?0 -
I paid the charges as they just too kthe money out of my account as they wished, my loan with them was in the bankruptcy - and a credit card? perhaps a tiny overdraft - of 500 or less.
If they go to the officical receiver so be it, but at least then I will feel I've put something back - I am discharged now.0 -
I'd like to ask a question related to this. Is it possible to reclaim charges on an account that one has i) defaulted on ii) been passed to a collection agency or iii) has had a CCJ?0
