in Credit cards
Ok i have four cards namely, Sony(MBNA), Halifax One, Barclay Card and Bank Of Scotland.
Now Halifax and BOS have merged they are from the same people so getting one of their cards means i am not allowed to get a new card and transfer from their accounts onto a 0% interest scheme.
By ways of calculating it looks like in April i will be One Card down so in your opinion would this be my chance once one card is clear to get another say Virgin if it has a 0%balance transfer interest rate for say 9 months. Or should i wait till 2 are paid of so that at the moment in time i only have 2 cards with debt on it?
Just tried to get an upgrade from BOS and they told me that the balance from the "old" card would go on at 19.95% same as it is the now... Obv told the man id leave it for the now.
Many thanksies!

That sounds like an opportune time to get the next card [assuming, that is, you allow about a month in advance of this in applying].mark_steps wrote:By ways of calculating it looks like in April I will be One Card down so, in your opinion, would this be my chance once one card is clear to get another, say Virgin, if it has a 0% balance transfer interest rate for say 9 months?
Query: Are you able to repay any of the debt 'on demand' [i.e. from savings] or is it geniune debt? If the former [i.e. 'stoozing'] then it's largely a matter of organising applications. You do want to be able to transfer a debt [rather than repay a bit and then borrow a different bit from somewhere else] even then. Why not apply for Egg [or do you already have one, but not on promotional rate]?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
