Alternative Format Communications

Hello everyone
I work for a firm which provides alternative format communications for many large and small companies/organisations.
While it won't actually save you any money, can I urge all of you that require letters and bills in anything other than standard print to actively request them.
We bang our heads against brick walls on a daily basis with companies that don't understand the importance of you receiving your information in a format you can access.
The thing we hear time and again is "...we get no complaints".
Please, request it; compliment them when it's good; and complain when it's bad.
If you notice a change in the way the information is presented to you, the company in question will probably have switched supplier - often to save money, with a subsequent impact on the quality of the transcription. Don't let them get away with it.
As I say, it won't necessarily save you money. But, it will at least make sure you know what you're paying!
Thanks for reading
Tim
