    Hi all,

    :xmassign:

Thanks to Binxy for her very useful emails and posts. As you can imagine this is no small list and I'll try my best to have them all answered tomorrow.

I would like to personally applaud and congratulate cuppatea for the posts on this forum. I'm impressed and enthused about finding someone as passionate about this site as I hope I am!

Terribly interesting some of the posts. I liked pdotie's and droopsnouts for their challenge! Hope to come back with a response. But interestingly enough Droopsnout did hit the nail on the head with
Now maybe I'm just too cynical and grumpy, but I honestly do wonder (and come on, I bet you have, too!) whether Darragh's request for this info is just a quick way of presenting evidence to his superiors. How convenient for him to have an instant summary of members' concerns!! Press the PRINT button, and hey presto!

That's true to an extent. I'm a firm believer in Customer Service and I really want Pigsback to excel in this because i don't actually think it's that hard a thing to do. I had a FASCINATING conversation with pdotie earlier this week which cleared things up a lot for me and yes, I have been sending links to this and other fora to my superiors saying "CAN WE SORT THIS??!"

And Curly in his benevolent wisdom has come back and said "You can!"

So from 1st February 2006 (or there abouts) I take on the role as Member Services Manager for Pigsback.com - I'll be paid to help sort out the problems, working with Kelly here and Rachel and Karolina here in a new department set up to champion your experience.

I've been limited in what i can do till now primarily due to workload but this will change.

So thank you to everyone. It's going to be an interesting job to say the least!

So for now here's what I'll do - I'm going to find and print the posts by Binxy, Kipling, Droopsnout and Kazzea and I'll come up with a definitive list of questions which I'll then post here. (There's not much point in starting loads of new threads, much harder to keep track and it's why i miss stuff) and then I'll answer questions as much as I can.

Just FYI, the office closes from tomorrow afternoon so please be aware of that. Postmaster queries will be answered until Thurs afternoon 22nd and from January 3rd 2006.

    I'll be back. I promise.

Thanks Darragh - having just spoken to him (again, and I hate using the phone  ) I want to commend him on the work he's doing to sort things out.

He's working hard to the questions I sent (he had the managing director of PB ast on his desk as we spoke _pale_ ) and very politely was letting me know he'd reply as soon as possible.

They're getting some lovely new vouchers in early january which should make folks happy, and L2S will not be among them :p

Disclaimer: I was not paid to say this, it is just my opinion. I thank you........

Weinachten is the answer allright for Pigsback, but it's actually Weihnachten (just in case anyone cares)
