    this is a torbeck valve. there are other makes that look similar.
    you can tell a torbeck by the lack of a traditional large ball co ck.
    Get some gorm.
  • I just fixed the same problem with our B&Q bathroom by replacing the washer.
    I opened up the cistern to see the washer I need but B&Q didnt have what I needed in the correct size. I ended up buying the washer on ebay for £2.50 ..... The only other place that I found to supply the washer wanted £17 (delivered) for it!!

    Just wanted to update you all on this one. . .

    problem was the diaphragm (tiny hole which you could only just see if you held it up against the light and looked hard for!), replacement was £1.35 from local plumbers merchant.
