hi there
i bought a tv from comet about 2 months back, which has developed a problem, they said they would come yesterday and fix it, no one came, they are saying today they will need to take the tv away.
i have only had it for 2 months can i demand a refund or replacement under the sales of goods act

They are offering a repair under the warrenty, it is outside of the returns period, Parts can just fail, its life, but Im sure I will get slaughted by someone here now0

Agreed. I don't believe you can demand a refund after 28 days. They have offered a repair, provided they don't mess you about that should suffice. If you keep getting promises that they will come and fix it or pick it up for repair and they don't that gives you a little more ammo to fight for a refund. A repair is all fine and dandy if they actually do it!0 -
Depending on the fault, you may still have the right to reject the item and ask for a refund or a replacement.
Given that you have provided them with opportunity to effect a repair, I would be pushing for a replacement at least.0
