Which Bank is behind TESCO?

As 6.5% is about the best we can get except for term deposits I am thinking of putting some money in. Does anyone know which bank they use?.

Joint operation with RBS but Tesco are buying them out (completion due before the end of the year).

From an FSCS perspective it opeates its own banking licence.

You can put £50K in it safely, as up to 50K is covered by the FSCS (the older 35K limit was superseded a few weeks ago)
