  • Well done NoahsPennilessMummy on getting your son to eat different sandwiches. My DS1 is ASD too and for the last 9 years he has eaten weetabix and toast for breekie, cheese sandwich for lunch and only now at the grand age of 11 is he prepared to try new foods in the evening. I've had the same advice as you, thats its normal for ASD kiddies to restrict their food to only a few choices.

Ok, enough waffle, here is our list

Sat - Cauliflower cheese and baked spuds

Sun - Roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings

I bought aldi's 39p veg this week, so will have loads of veg to use.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

:p would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing :o

Not my best week, I don't think - still relying on the freezer to an extent, and the variety isn't as great as we might wish... Still, it means no spending needed on the evening meals before the end of the month, so I think we can live with that !

Friday - spaghetti bolognaise (freezer) - DD mushroom tortellini
Saturday - keema curry & HM naan - DD poached eggs
Sunday - coq au vin (having guests) - DD will probably be having tea with OH's LO, so the choice is up to them on the day
Monday - tuna bean bake - DD mushroom tortellini
Tuesday - spaghetti bolognaise (freezer) - DD spaghetti with veg
Wednesday - spicy lentil soup (freezer)
    Thursday - potato stew

Plus I intend to use a rare free Saturday to do some baking and fill the biscuit tins as DD and OH are home for the half term. Made a start today with Twink's hobnobs.... Yum !
  • Wooohooo its half term!!! Only my family to feed this week.

Friday Steak, chips, muchrooms and onion rings
Saturday Take away or meal out as we are childless
Sunday Roast pork with all the trimmings
Monday HM fishcakes with HM wedges and peas
    Tuesday Sausages, mash with veg
Weds HM chicken Tikka and rice
    Thursday Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages

Lunches will be ham and cheese sandwiches with fruit
