Dave,
Are the baliffs still there? And are you okay?
If they are still there, set up a new post with 'Help - baliffs at the door' as the title and you may get more immediate help. (I don't know enough).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

HI Dave
If you want to continue to trade or have assets that you do not want to lose such as a house then an IVA may be the best solution. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) is arranged by an insolvency practitioner and endorsed by the courts so once set up creditors are not allowed to continue to harass you.
You will normally have to pay an up front fee and this is what these people advertising on the radio etc do, however there is a company called Payplan who offer IVA's without up front fees. https://www.payplan.com. 0800 917 7823 phone lines are open 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturdays.
They will be able to advise you as to whether it is viable in your case.
If you have no assets and cannot see a way of raising the money then you may need to consider bankruptcy and again you should talk to professionals who can give you true advice about hte pros and cons as it is not as easy as everyone seems to think0 -
