Webcam For Mac

Can anyone recommend a webcam that can be used on a Mac, running OS X 10.4.3? It needs to be good in low light conditions (by low light, I mean a dark room, with one low powered bed side lamp).

The Philips Toucam Pro is good for low light conditions, and I believe it has Mac drivers (but I'm not 100% sure on that)0

What about Apples iSight ???0

Thanks for the replies.

I have a Toucam, but it doesn't work with OS X and iChat. From what I've read, you have to use a third paty driver, and due to the chipset that Philips uses, the results aren't as good as with other cameras (slower frame rates). But maybe this isn't the case? It would be great to use the Toucam if I could, cos like you say, it's great in Low Light.
From what I have read about the iSight, it's one flaw (apart fom it's price) is that it's not so good in low light.0 -

Thanks patflanel. I'll check those out and give them a go. I'm new to Macs, so had no idea where to start looking when I ran into problems.
scms1969, thanks for your offer, but it looks like I should be able to get my existing cam to work.0 -
The iSight is a wonderful webcam for the Mac - it works very well with iChat, and it's simply a beautiful device. It's superb when using with applications such as Delicious Software's amazing Library. So do think of upgrading at some stage.
But you're right, it isn't ideal for low-light conditions. There are two solutions: you can get software iGlasses or invest in some more hardware, such as the very cool SightLight.0 -
Hey Nightswimmer,

Thanks to the links patflanel sent, I managed to get my TouCam working with OS X and iChat. :j
Unfortunately, the ports iChat uses, clash with our VoIP phones, so we can't use it, however, we are trying out alternative software.
firedog, thanks for the links. they would have been perfect had I needed to upgrade my WebCam, so i have bookmarked them for the future, just in case.
scms1969, thanks again for your generous offer, but it looks like I'll be ok. maybe someone else around here could benefit from it.
Thanks again for all your help.
