  • hey ladies!

i don't mind the 2% thing, but only about 2% of the time!!! not too often..........!

on a completely unrelated thing.... i have a new toy!! A sewing machine! it's fabulous!!!! Still working it out in terms of all it's functions and workings... but i love it all the same.... laugh is, the machine is probably older than me!!!

I had forgotten about my sewing machine, I picked it up from my parents a little while ago, it was my Nan's, she gave it to me about 15 years ago and It was about 25 years old then

What are you going to make Maz??

I have dreams of beautiful dresses and tops out of fabulous indian silks but fear it may take a while before I am off of the cushion level (I used to do OK with one in my teens but not touched one for years except to make my niece some curtains for her wendy house - hemmed squares not too taxing

Erin and i made a fabric bag at her craft class a few weeks ago, basic rectangles sewn together and i pleated 3 strips into one then sewed it as the long handle.... i love it, and plan on making some more of those for practice.... and mum has some long curtains to take up! i reckon she'll have a share in the machine as she was quite excited about my aquisition.....

i can only dream of making tops and dresses!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
