Aldi never argue. You'll get a replacement (if you wish and provided it's not off sale) or a full refund, otherwise, straight away, no debates, on any product you bought during the last 12 months, except Medion products.) That's the Aldi "no quibble policy". You should bring your receipt, though.
Lidl state they have a similar policy, but they happen to quibble quite a lot.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Bloomin' eck. I've just noted that it was 4th January that I posted earlier on this thread, which is the same day I wrote to Lidl Head Office.
My update is that there was no update. I never received a reply to my letter.
Do any Money Savers speak fluent German? I'm contemplating writing to Lidl in their mother tongue in the hope that it elicits some response and need a translation!

Write the letter, use babelfish to translate, then post the result on here. I bet the German speakers won't be able to resist correcting the mangled Deutsch!

No problesm encountered at stores in the Milton Keyns area, in fact on thwe occasions I've returned items, they couldn't have been more helpful. :T :T0
