I am running the Edinburgh Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support
Options
First of all a huge thank you to all those friends who sponsored me in last year's London Marathon when I ran in memory of my dad who passed away in 2006 as a result of cancer.
Sadly as many of you will know I also lost my mum to cancer in August of this year. So I have a double reason to run for Macmillan in Edinburgh.
Macmillan do a terrific job in providing practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer and I would like to offer the opportunity to forum members to help with this very worthy cause. It is exciting to run a prestigious big city marathon, but being able to do something to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer is just as exciting and much more important.
