The one piece of advice i'd like to share is start with a spending diary.
I used to withdraw the equivalent of £50/week - a tenner here and there - and had NOTHING to show for it.
I'm not in debt but that is good advice for everyone... I'm exactly the same as you were. I took £30 out of my bank a few days ago and have £4 left :eek: After reading your post I'm sat here trying to think what on earth I spent it on, but I have no idea
