Great North Air Ambulance - Air Medics 'The Golden Hour' - BBC1
I'm sure a lot of you have been watching the first in a new series of 9 programmes about the work of Great North Air Ambulance on BBC1 tonight...
If you enjoyed the programme, can I please encourage you to make a donation to Great North Air Ambulance, or your local equivalent?

Click the link and hit the DONATE NOW tab near the top of the screen
I'm not connected to GNAAS, but they are one of my charities of choice and I support them personally and through my employer, which makes donations to our charities of choice when we pass key targets for safety at work.
Thanks everyone  :T
Keep a look out for the next programme - 8 to go but not regularly scheduled - come on BBC, sort your act out!!!
PS if you think you recognise 'The Pride of Cumbria' G-HEMS, the Cumbria-based helicopter, that's because it is the same helicopter which used to be the London Air Ambulance, which featured on TV a few years ago when sponsored by Virgin and the Daily Mail.
Great North Air Ambulance has no major sponsors and is supported wholly by charity donations - there is no government money spent on this important service, or any air ambulance service in the UK.
REMEMBER - IT COULD BE YOU!
and now for the bit to comply with Martin's rules...

You could set up a standing order for £2 a month, you wouldnt miss that surely. Or donate any clothes shoes, there is often a clothes bank at
amenity sites or supermarkets.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I watch the programme myself but already donate to County Air Ambulance which covers West Midlands, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Warwickshire - again this receives no government funding and is funded purely by charitable donations.0
