Fund Manager monthly payments advice please

Hi - I'm new to this site but it is fantastic! I have spent hours going over it and different forums, takes a while to navigate as it really is information overload.

I would like help/advice on the following if i may:

I have an inheritance that I get paid £30k a month beginning in Jan for 12 months. I currently have £3k a month invested with SJPP that is split by £600 month pension, £600 month for my ISA allowance a year and the rest in funds.

After reading some not so positive feedback on SJPP I was thinking of choosing other Fund Managers say through citywire and spread the £30k maybe with £5k a month across 6 different managers?

I realise I am in a very fortunate position so do not want to do my family the disrespect of wasting such a fortunate position. I am obviously going to carry on with my current employment, looking for the majority of risk to be medium to high.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Regards

I think investments on this scale are a bit beyond me. Also people here are not really allowed to make specific investment recommendations, though giving an opinion an already suggested product is ok.

In your case I'd wait for somebody to come along who can better advise, but to get you started I assume you have stocks & shares ISAs already? It won't get you far as the limit is only £7200 each year but its better than nothing. Article here.

There are other tax free products including those from NS&I which really only come into their own for high rate tax payers.

For the investments fund supermarkets are good, and use discount brokers (article here) if you don't need advice.
  • Thanks for the feedback, I will certainly look at the direct brokers, I have a few months and certainly plan to look at all options

    Many thanks
