Last time I did an online shop at Asda, they were really good. The delivery person told me if anything was ever missing,to ring the local branch and they would get it out to me the same day.
  • I cannot see how the Ocado packers can pack salad with tinned food as chilled foods are packed separately from cupboard stores.

They won't redeliver in most cases just refund.

They all have their good days and bad days. But do use mysupermarket.com it will help you save money and choose which supermarket is best for you.
  • I've used Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys for several years and found them all to be rubbish! Asda were always late (once over 2 hours) and everything was badly packed, Tesco couldn't find my house (even though I live in the suburbs and there are 2 other houses on my street that get deliveries from Tescos!), when they did eventually find it they were often late and once sent something that was 3 months past its sell-by date.

Sainsburys used to be good and I've used them most often, but over the past few months they've really gone downhill. Rude drivers (one of which hit the lamp post outside our house with his van), late deliveries, many damaged items because they were badly packed, the chilled items have really short use-by dates. They also don't have their full range online and the range of items seems to be decreasing. I had a really bad delivery from them this week, which was the last straw and I'm not using them anymore. You have to ring up to get refunds and their call centre is in Ireland, on a recent phone call I was told they couldn't understand me "because I was English". The delivery driver this week told me they are introducing a new policy soon where shopping will not be packed in carrier bags. He said "things will get worse" when they bring this in.

Ocado always come out top in the Which surveys of online grocery deliveries, they have recently started delivering where I live so I'll probably give them a try!
