    I honestly haven't a clue about your problem,but had a situation where my usb port was not recognising a device.

    I was advised delete drivers,the computer will reinstall them on start up power off and restart ect. Tried lots of other stuff too but the the thing that worked was a tip to switch off computer and unplug from main power source, this apparently allows for internal components to discharge. It worked! Worth a try
