Question Re: Getting cash to pay off loan from Halifax CC

Does anyone know if Halifax would do something similar to Virgin where they'd do a balance transfer into your account so I could pay off a loan? It's just I have a good credit limit with Halifax and don't think i'll get much with virgin given the large halifax credit limit I already have

You need to use a 'mule' card such as Egg Money to get the cash from the Halifax card into your current account, from where you can settle the loan...assuming of course settling the loan is the right thing to do?
