I spent £30 on a trust 14670 power supply for my computer.

Now the tip which plugs in to my laptop has gone.

I don't want to shell out another £20 - £30 for a replacement, does anyone know where I can buy a replacement tip?

i have called trust but they just ask me to email them and it will take 3 - 4 weeks after they action the email to send me a replacement.

Have a look on eBay, I don't know any specifics of this device. I had trouble with a different Trust product a few years ago, it was cheap, didn't work properly and I'll never buy one again, probably not quite what you wanted to hear!

thanks isofa, all feedback welcome.

the power supply itself is fine, had no problems wiith it apart from the tip which broke, i got hold of trust who want to charge me £10 just for a new tip.

Maplins sell "tips" (power plug)for around 49p you need to solder it on, thats what I would do.

TS is the cheapest way by far to fix it, but you'd have to cut the adapter off the end, and connect directly, ensure you get the correct polarity on the connections before soldering!

You'd also obviously lose the multiadapter functions, as it'll have a hard wired single type of connection.
