Bit of a DOH! question for you all.
What is the difference between an Ipod, an MP3 and the Archos Gmini XS200???
DH would like one but we dont know what to pay for which one
Paramount to him is storage.ie.must hold lots of songs. Not fased by labels etc so the latest gadget is not a necessity.
Any help???
Thanks,
Allison

If you're not fussy about looks, then there's no real difference between them.
It just depends what exactly you want your music player to do. Just play your own music files, play files downloaded from the net, play video files, etc?
And of course, your budget.
If you plan on downloading music, then that will become a factor as the main music sites differ for the Ipod and the other two.
There are plenty of people who will go down the road off 'don't by this buy that,' 'my Ipod is better than' and so forth. In the end there's no definitive answer to who's best. It more or less comes down to personal taste.Dave. :wave:0 -
I have experience of all three and love the Archos series. I have a gmini and have just bought one from my hubbie from the Boots website - it is good value there is a £15 discount code about that still works and its triple points still so works out about £82 effectively for a 20gb player that I know is easy to work!
