No Mains Gas

We live in a village that does not have mains gas. Our house is supplied via a bulk gas tank that serves 9 other houses, of which relies on regular deliveries.
Therefore, we are becoming increasingly concerned with the price increases as we are:
1) unable to shop around for the best deals (e.g. dual-fuel, other suppliers) as we are tied to the current supplier who owns the tank
2) we are hit twice, once for the gas itself and then because of the increased costs for them to deliver it
we (like other bulk gas storage and cylinder consumers) seem to be a forgotten consumer base who are actually being hit the hardest.
We recently had a letter stating that the prices were going up, but not worry as they would fix the price until next year. That was nice of them seeing as the prices are coming down.
We seem to be 'over a barrel' - pardon the pun

I'll swap if you like. You come and live in Manchester and I'll come and live in your village....0

It was more to start a general discussion and to see if other bulk gas customers were or had been in the same situation (i.e. shared lpg tank) who managed to get the prices down or switch suppliers.
So my question I suppose is:
Has anybody with a shared tank manage to reduce their price per unit or swtich suppliers without having to pay for a tank to be removed and replaced (which therefore doesn't make it cost effective).0 -
Look on the sub forum - ,fuel and other'. Lots of post ref lpg.0
