Norwich Union - Am I entitled to Interest?

My endowment policy has matured and for some unknown reason I received my maturity pack over a month late from Norwich Union.
It might not amount to much but if I apply an interest rate of say 5% on a maturity value of £30000, this works out at over £100 for a months delay in receiving payment.
Can I seek interest on the proceeds of the policy and if so any idea what interest I should get?

You typically find interest is automatically added (although some do it after a certain period). You dont get to set the rate though and it wont be 5%.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
