Bought my house in september 2008 and now we are selling as split up but in october 2009 my ex took ot a 7000 pound bank loan and his bank statemnets are being sent to our address! Can he have secured it on our house without my permission? I am sure you can't but can someone please let me know?

    Agreed with Poo.

Anyway. Mandw23 for assistance start your own topic on the forums, youll get more responses that way.
A loan can only be secured against what the named holder of the loan has, if they own 50% of the house they can secure there own on upto 50% of the house. Or so i think, if they were it would need to be done via CCJ/CO, this may place a special restriction on the house sale if approved.
