auction wrecking? anyone ever got assistance off ebay?

Hiya

well, i've had to pretty much abandon my main account since I went reporting and wrecking 100's of "PICTURES OF XBOX360" auctions with another ID, trouble is, when I won, a few of them got my domain email and worked back to my ebay ID, D'oh :-(

theres one vile bit of work in particular responsible, he's wrecking with about 7 different ID's, all worded to taunt me !

has anyone ever had any assistance from ebay in these respects?,
why, oh why they WONT allow me to block NEW USERS registered less than 5 days is beyond me, hell, they won't allow NEW USERS to leave feedback, so it should be possible, especially for a 5+ year established on/off powerseller :-(

Ah well!, thank god I built up another account last year

I think it's great the way you've been scuppering all these phoney auctions but it's terrible that you've had to do it at the expense of your own account. Wouldn't e-bay just pull them after you've reported them in time or was the only way to stop them by putting in a false bid?
  • I have seen the Xbox you are selling and had a quick look at the bidders list, the person who is xboxscambuster is a right pain. I really don't see the problem with people buying things, i.e. xbox's and selling them for a profit, the people who moan about this must be saints as I have sold lots of stuff for a profit, it's life. Good one for the campaign on photos of the xbox's.
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.

It's not the same as just "selling things on for a profit" though, because of the limited supply. It's the equivalent of being a ticket tout.

    Sorry gormit

Its that old saying supply and demand.
There nothing wrong with buying something to turn a profit we all do it on ebay or atleast try to.

I do however agree with you on ticket touts .
