    Hi all :D

Thank to the OP about the John freida "2 for £5.50" on JF brilliant brunette range. Got 2 intensive conditioners (worth £5.49 each) for £1.50 using 2 JF MOCs.

    (Total £5.50 less £2 MOCs x 2 ---> received a TS too :D)

Small .com glitch - The conditioner is £1.79 online but £5.49 instore!!!

    2 quick requests please:

    1. any advice from any liverpool bootsers? (off to l'pool for 1st time on mon :D)

    2. does anyone want to switch a no7 TS for a pinky? (really want to try it with the no7 mirror)

    TIA :D

(Also thanks barmybabybugaroo for the voucher and thanks AM for teaching us how to do the hyperlink thing!)

If you want to use a pinky and TS together you are better off going to Speke Retail Park and they are the only store that has ss tils. I have not used both in the main city centre stores, but only tried today I dont know if anyone else has used both:confused:

Speke is outside the city centre, almost directly opposite John Lennon Airpoet (There is also a Boots in the airport)

If you go to Speke store, you could do a couple of transactions on the SS tills to get your TS's. It is a big store and very spacious. But as it's on a retail park it is always busy and the same with the car park.

Clayton Square (City centre is a brilliant store.) Very friendly SA's, great managers, can not fault it for service. :T :T

There is also a smaller Boots in city centre in the Whitechapel area, just 5 mins from Clayton Square. Quite small, but on 2 floors. More 'reductions' found in whitechapel though, especially in basement. They carry less lines than clayton Square.

    EDIT

BTW it looks as though the intensive conditioner is a mini!!

I agree with Polly. Clayton Square is the best Boots. The clearance stand is normally near the downstairs corner tills, but has been getting moved around while they have been putting the christmas stock in. The stores staff are all lovely,I've never met a crabby one yet. :D

you should've got one, as your spend was over 5.00:confused: maybe they had run out of vouchers? When the vouchers were out last time round, the till I was at had no vouchers left in it, so I took my reciept to a less busy till and asked the SA if she had any vouchers left. She had and gave me one:) You could go back to the store today and try doing this.

I went the other day bought Mitchum x 4 wiv coupons - no pinkie. Rang CS gave me some junk about promotion not being on in all stores er??? Simple this one, off .com, well informed her it was nationwide as she had no clue what was goin on, she offered me 200 points, i wanted pinkie, offered me 500 points, i accepted. Anyhow had sum guy on next tellin me i had 2 go to store, buy no7 then get them ring CS so they can give me points or pinkie. He was basically talkin to me as i was tryin it on! So asked for manager as they were bein so rude, could not get hold one, so rang CS again who issued me wiv £10 gift card after i complained alot and loud.

Now, i went in the same shop this week, bought 4 x mitchum and was given a pinkie??????

Also informed off a friend that when i step onto two town centres the security guards ring Boots warn them im on me way and store detecs follow me.

Wish i had customer friendly Boots here xx

just simply take your stuff back get refund do transaction again xx

    Off Topic

    Morning Sally and all :)

Looks like I'll be buying the brunette JF using the vouchers. It's not something I'll use being blonde ;), but it'll always go in hampers.

But the thing is ... does anyone else think this offer is a bit of a cheek? I keep laughing when I see the signs advertising it for brunettes, but now it's annoying me. I was tempted to mail CS asking if there'd be an offer on soon for fair-haired people, because believe me, if this offer was only for blondes, I think there'd be a bit of an outcry locally. The problem is - I don't want to mail and appear to be xenophobic, because I'm definitely not.

I was wary of asking about it in the forum as posts are often misconstrued, but is it only me that thinks the same?

(I'll take it to Boots Refugees if it's way off topic btw).
