Hi everyone. Does anyone know how long the 1/2 price on selected fragrances is on for? I really want to get one of the perfumes for my mum for xmas but I'm not sure if I can get to a Boots before Friday/Sat.

I was asking a couple of girls in work today if either of them had a TS they could spare. I would replace it after I had bought what I needed as I was paying at a SS till.

One of them said to me "do you not get mixed up with the ones you have used and the ones you can still scan".

I was confused as to what she meant as every time I used the voucher the machine told me to put it into the slot and doesn't continue until I have done.

Turns out she was scanning the voucher as she scanned the product and not waiting until she had finished scanning and then pressed "finish and pay". Doing it they way she had done it the machine doesn't tell you to put the voucher in the slot.

She thought that once it was scanned this made it obsolete so put them all back into her purse. She didn't know you were meant to put them into the slot:eek:

She has about twenty vouchers in her purse but thought only three or four of them were still valid.

just been into town , i have 2 local boots there this is the first time i have been in any of them , i have been reading this thread and thinking wow wot bargins you lot get, but either of them have ss tills so i ended up with 2 pinkies i need 1 but to get my first bargin i wiil need a ts so i would be grateful if any body would do me a swap for 1

Most years it is until 24th December, so I presume it is the same again this year But please don't take my word for it - perhaps someone here could check for you?

I'm the same - I don't think I could use them - I'd feel like a thief

She genuinely didn't know what she was meant to do with them - it didn't tell her to put them anywhere and she thought the scanning invalidated them - she had only put them back in her purse to keep the place tidy!!

Good advice BTVB, but Lady Mimi does not use cosmetics or anything like that. She's always had gorgeous skin and all that (where do you think I get my good looks from!) and she just uses water and soap. Anyway, for my 20 PINKIES, what am I going to use my horde of points on? Eeeek!

Cleaning and dusting done, cooking done. Now what? I want to go to BOOTS! HELP.
