Tried my first glitch on the ss tills.
Stood there thinking if they had heart monitors on them they'd be able to pick out us Bootsers! I can't believe how nervous I was. How daft am I?:rotfl:0 -
There is a 20% off voucher for mini mode in the baby and you mag that is found in baby dept in store
Have just checked on my receipt and although the voucher is for a £20 spend it kicked in on pre-sale prices for me and went through the till no probs - my items totalled £15. Thanks again to amealiasmummy for help on this one - am going shopping again next week for more clothes and hopefully use both coupons together and pinkie and ts.
Which brings me to my second point:p does anyone want to swap a couple of pinkies as I need some ss tillspits - have no ss tills near me - unless someone is from the Middlesbrough area and can let me know if there are any boots with ss tills nearer than York!!!;)
Thanking you:D0 -

Hi, looks a good order to me - there is a £5 off code on HUKD if you prefer the money off rather than in points but couldnt see anything else.
The hairdryer set is really nice and a good price. Have you tried the perfume before, I found the bottle I bought smelt nothing like the sample I had and i didnt like it.0 -
I may have dreamt this (I'm not the only one who dreams of Bootsing, am I?!!) but I think a couple of days ago, some brilliant person posted a list of cheap suggestions for men/boy pressies to get on the 3for2/R&M glitch - things like remote control mini for £7 but I can't remember what else and I don't know how to search for previous posts - does anyone remember the info?
...
Tiara already posted my suggestions for men/boy gifts, so I thought I'd throw in a few more that I think could be"couples" gifts (or unisex, non-personal gifts, like for your boss or a co-worker) that are low price and on the 342 sale. This would be for things like if you get invited to dinner or a housewarming (in which case you may bring wine or flowers as well), or if you needed something for a casual friend or co-worker (but you also vaguely know their spouse and want something small that could sort of be for both of them, iyswim). You could also pair a couple small gifts together depending how much you wanted to give:
-wine stoppers
-wineglass charms (I think I saw these, around the £6 range?)
-chocolate (in boxes, in ginger jars, etc)
-biscuits in a tin (they have some in a tall, black-and-white round tin for £5 that matches the chocs in a box for £5)
-small bucks fizz with choccies (only £5 I think!)
-set of candles (I saw a set of 3 or 4 candles in votive holders for £6 or £7)
-Jamie Oliver salt jar £5
-Jamie Oliver pepper jar £5
I was all dressed and ready to go Bootsing, then saw it was so cold and raining out that I'm staying in, so spending too much time thinking about things I could be buying, lol!0 -

Used the SS tills in Aberdeen today to get 3 mens No7 and GWP and use the 250 extra points from another GWP and a pinkie and a TS. It took the pinkie and the extra points then froze!
DH said if he heard that unexpected item in bagging area again he was going to put his foot thru the screen! So the SA came over and said it was frozen and that it has been doing that. She kept muttering 'these tills. these tills'. Take it there has been a few problems with them!
Anyway got taken to a till and another SA scanned my extra points and pinkie then said no to the TS. I said oh ive done it before, so she scanned it and it worked. She seemed pleasantly surprised!
Im not a fan of the SS tills tho!Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110
