off the topic about boots, but if you go to a texaco garage and buy lottery tickets stamps etc etc they will give you points, every £1 spent in store you get 1 point = to 1pence (every little helps)

I think Mimi and Living with Boots Obsessive Glitches Syndrome will be one of the editions. I will do a collection like Harry Potter, and other titles will be Mimi and Living with Cleaning Obsessive Syndrome, Mimi and Living with Cooking Obsessive Syndrome. I could have a BOOTSETTE in each book, with lots of glamorous photos too. My final book should be Mimi and the Bootsettes with a bit of a profile and gossip section with photos of each of you. How about it? LOL.

Or you could do a calendar Girls style calendar with everyone in the buff but with their bits covered up with various glitches that they have gained throughout the year! From the sounds of your stash there would be very little flesh on show :rotfl:

Evening everyone,

Well, I had a great shop today that was swiftly wiped ouy by me leaving the store after having a panic attack and feeling like a thief :eek:

Got lovely SA who accepted all my coupons, but the 1500 Oral B wouldn't go through so off she went and got them added maually. While she did that I planned my next shop.

She came back, apologised for my wait and gave me back my card. Off I went picked up R&M Mirror, Whiskey Set and Wine Stoppers Set. As I made my way to SS till, I came out of an aisle and met a "huddle" of 5 Boots staff.

As I approached them 1 lady had a handful of coupons and was sayng "where did this come from?", another said "Well that shpuld not have been used", another said "I'm reporting this, this is not on too many coupons!.

Well when I looked at the vouchers on the way past I nearly died a death, they were all mine!!!!:eek: They were that engrossed in conversation they did not even notice me, I walked with my basket really quick and looked behind me and there were fingers and pens being pointed and raised voices.

I panicked, my heart starting beating really fast, I got shaky legs and felt that everyone was watching me. I put my basket down and tried to leave the store, my legs wouldn't take me. I felt so so sick I kept thinking someone would put a hand on my shoulder and take me away.

When I got home, after a nice cuppa , I collected myself and realised every coupon/voucher I handed over Boots had sent me or gave me from AC machine & had my name on it. If there was a prob then surely SA wouldn't have accepted coupons

Anyway I rang CS as I had horrible thought my card might be stopped :eek: :eek: CS were horrified, in fact got transferred o a senior Team Leader and she was so apologetic, said it was extremely unprofessional of the staff, and she would ensure they were repromanded!!

Sorry for the long post but that was a horrible day, my confidence has been really knocked

You need a mini eye massage from Agent Mimi. I've seen that stunning Nicky Hambleton do it on 10 Years Younger. It's dead easy, there are certain parts around the eye that you need to massage and press and it supposedly makes the flow of blood or whatever better which makes you look perkier and much more stunning (which I am sure you are already!).

NUNINGE/SQUIDGEUM: Perfect idea about the Calendar Girls style thing. However, you would have to be whittled down to 12, which means me and Mariah will be on the judging panel. Woohoo. We could do like an X Factor this. We would so beat X Factor/Strictly in the ratings. Knock them dead! I'm all excited already! And if you used my stash, it would a PG calendar. No flesh on show at all. LOL.

Seriously you ladies are legendary. You crack me up!

Think I will do a BOOTS shop tomorrow, some lunches, top ups for my lady friend, and maybe even a NO 7 4 MEN combo and I shall try the S&G points at my local.

Awww moyilla Glad CS were sympathetic though.

Kind of reminds me of looking at the perfumes in Cambridge Retail Park last year and overhearing three (temporary) SAs talking loudly about all the "sad c*****s with no lives who turn up at Boots on Boxing Day"...so I marched up to them and said "excuse me, this sad c****n here would like to buy some perfume, can you unlock the case for me please?" - Talk about red faces - never did see any of them again...hope they don't get re-employed this year...
