Mimi - cut down on the BOOTsing by all means, but not on your posting - you keep us all so well entertained, and of course, well-informed :D

Third time lucky. Posting this again! *** Thanks Neffy58 love, you are a doll. Hugs to you babe. *** The point of my post was to point out to my fellow BOOTS hunters that the 3 x GWP does work when you buy 3 x £15 S&G products. It's a huge bargain! Sorry if I sounded arrogant or full of myself. Just wanted to point out a bargain. Had I have gone somewhere else for the same products, I am sure I would have spent £100. Anyway, I waffle. Catch you later.

Anyone know whether I might be able to use £5 off No7 from mailing, pinkie and ts towards No7 and new (gorgeous) gwp next week, bearing in mind it wont be in a store with ss?. I would definitely avoid paying at No7 counter, but wonder if it will be pushing my luck a bit anyway?;)
Had another question too, but can't remember what it was now! Wonder if Mr B has any remedies for ''middle-aged moments''!!!
    TIA
    Be back laters when/if I remember other query:o :o

P.S Thanks mimi, your post has made my day;) ;)

Agent Mimi ready to rock! Got £50 worth of S&G. Took my basket to the cute SA, but she was busy and said it would take a while so told the other SA (don't like her, she be mean!) to serve this "young gentleman".

Bounced over to her. Explained that I had 3 x £15 + and therefore 3 x GWP's. She said it wouldn't work unless I did it all separately. I said I wanted my 1000 points! She said it won't work. I admitted defeat and was just about to walk off.

Manager walked along and asked what the problem was. SA explained. Manager said DON'T BE MEAN, JUST PUT THEM THROUGH FOR THE YOUNG GENTLEMAN at which point I smiled and winked at her and said thank you.

(Young gentleman twice in one day, I blushed, I wanted to tell her I was agent Mimi of the 8th Emancipation with full lips that are 1.5 x bigger than Angelina's, but thought best not).

Anyway, everything went through. Spent £57 cos I got 2 x lunches too. Got my 1000 points, got my double points.

Spent £57, got 3 x S&G GWP, PINKIE and 1500 + points (1000 Xmas points, 288 normal points and 288 double points). RESULT or what!

Bounced in again later to get my free lunch, last day of the month. Went to the lovely SA (not the cute one). Then got 4 x £5 ORANGE top ups for a lady friend in USA, at the same time bagging 4 x PINKIES.

Another lady friend, again in the USA, wants 4 x £5 VODAFONE top ups, so I will bag another 4 x PINKIES.
Agent Mimi now has lots and lots of points and even more PINKIES! Hope you all had a good BOOTSing session today.

Have a fun Halloween and an even better weekend. I would say be good, but being bad is even better, so be bad! Oh Agent Mimi is being beckoned, laters my lady friends!

PS. All bits and bobs have been posted out, you shall get them next Monday hopefully. Kisses to all and sundry.

Well done Mimi for blagging your way into getting 3 GWP in the one transaction. :T :T :T Bet they wouldn't have done that for me.

For young gentlemen, substitute Aged hippey or old bag!!!!!

Would you be offended if I asked if you can put some paragraphs in your messages. They are Brilliant, but I always have to copy/paste them and then add paragraphs to read them properly :o:o

If it was anyone elses I would just skim read them, but I like the funny details in yours. See above, in your message, I have re-arranged it for you or should I say me.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I hope you are actually going to use some of this S&G and not give it away.

  • Neffy, I used a tillspit for the first time this week (received through swapping) in my store which does not have SS tills. Not sure if the SA had ever seen one before ;) . Gave her the tillspit BEFORE the pinkie, she looked at it briefly, scanned it (it went through, yay) and then I waved the pinkie which ofcourse is very familiar to all SAs, so she grabbed it and scanned that as well. Worked great!! Got the 3 mens No7 products PLUS gwp for £3.

    HTH someone.

I think it's worth a try. They can only say no if they don't just accept them. I have used T/S and pinkie on a manned till and the SA took it - eventually!!

She did say that I couldn't use both but was swing the voucher around whilst doing so and it scanned so she let it go:D

I have bought quite a lot of lynx shower gels/sprays and No7 mens toiletries recently and would like to get hold of some nice mens wash bags to put them in. Has anyone any ideas on where I can buy some really nice bags quite cheaply?

There's been a few appearing on clearance hereabouts Sally, like the brown leather Boots own 75% off at £3.75 but not in any great numbers. There was some sturdy looking navy blue ones for about the same price, or maybe slightly less. (Can't recall which range it was from though, sorry.)

Argh I had ssoooo much on the buggy today lol. This is the problem when you loose your Boots mojo after getting so much grief in your local and then must run out on voucher expiry day! My maclaren has really put up with a lot of haulage in the last 18 months!

    Anyway, I did:

Transaction One...and *cough* Number Two aswell(lol)
    1 x No7 Mens Face Wash £6.50
    1 x No7 Mens Face Scrub £6.50
    1 x No7 Mens Eye Stick £7.50
    1 x No7 Mens GWP £0.00
    3 X Expert Bottom Balm @ £2.49 = £7.47
    4 x Expert Talc @ £1.99 = £7.96
    1 x Olay Hand Treatment £4.97
    1 x Olay Wipes £4.49
    2 x Huggies @ £5.98 = £11.96
    So was £57.35

    3 for 2 No7 kicked in -£6.50
    2 for £10 Huggies kicked in -£1.96
    Till totalled £48.89 afterwards

    Handed over
    £5 No7 PC
    £5 No7 TS
    £5 No7 pinky
    HP Expert 92
    HP Expert 93
    1/3 Expert (-0.84p)
    £5 Olay
    £4 Olay
    600pts Olay
    500pts £15 baby dept spend
    250pts Mens No7

So with normal points that made it...£8.55, 1386 points, plus pinky(TWICE)

    Transaction Three
    No7 Mirror £19.99(was £39.99)
    Paracetamol 16p
    Original Total £40.15
    Till totalled £5.15

    Handed over
    £5 TS
    £5 pinky
    £5 Elec(mailing)

    £5.15 20 points and a pinky

    Transaction Four
    3 x packs Heinz custard pots @ £1.49 = £4.47
    1 X olay Hand Treatment £4.97
    1 x Olay Wipes £4.49
    Surgical Spirit £3.25
    Total £17.81

    3 for £3.50 offer (-1.47) kicks in
    Till totalled £15.71 afterwards

    Handed over
    PC Heinz voucher (-0.97)
    £5 Olay
    £4 Olay
    600pts Olay

So with normal points that made it...£5.74, 623 points, plus pinky

    So....
So bit of a predictable shop, but was chuffed as I got 6 no7 mens, 2 gwp, 4 packs huggies, 3 olay cream, 3 olay wipes, no7 mirror, 14 baby expert bits, 3 packs of heinz, surgical spirit and paracetamol for...

    Original Total:£155.74
    Actual Spend:£27.99
    Points gained:3415

So I gained £6.16 and 4 pinkies for taking it all away! Wooohoooo:j
