  • I am not one for taking things back usually , however got an order from .com and I have decided one of the toys I got I don't really want ( but it was on 342) would I be able to take it back to store and do a direct swap for something else the same price?

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I have bought quite a lot of lynx shower gels/sprays and No7 mens toiletries recently and would like to get hold of some nice mens wash bags to put them in. Has anyone any ideas on where I can buy some really nice bags quite cheaply?

My second question is to peeps with inside info:D is No7 suncare going to be on BOGOF anytime soon? fingers (and everything else) crossed it will be, so we can get the new No7 GWP without spending much;) TIA
they had plain black wash bags for 10p in superdrug
  • Okay I thought I was well enough to just pop out and get some baby stuff and some food today so I just popped into my very small local boots (I couldn't have used any of the vouchers I sent out to people in this boots branch so don't worry :D ).

It is not as exciting as most people shops from today but I am pleased. Obviously I split into £5ish sales.

    vitamin c tablets £2.49
    tixylix £2.79
    huggies nb £3.75
    huggies nb £3.75
    multivitamins childrens syrup £2.15
2x pampers sensitive baby wipes (bogof) £1.99
    3x fruity custards £3.50
    3x fruity custards £3.50
    huggies sz 6 £5.99
    =£29.91

    after vouchers = £22 + 600 points and 4x pinky :j

In the first lot I did I had literally about 9 vouchers (for 3 items) and didn't think sa would let it go through but she did :T .

My best buys of the day was 2packs of huggies newborn for £2 (for both) using baby and you vouchers (thanks to all you lovely bootsers for sending them to me :A ) and huggies club mocs, and also 6x packs fruity custards for £4 woohoo.

I was dead pleased with myself until I went in Tesco and keeled over lol :rotfl:

Watch out if doing this on the SS tills as when i did mine it had a security tag on and had to ask the SA to remove it for me before i left the store..
    HTH

oh lordy, this is getting harder by the minute :rotfl: I might leave the mirror as my last transaction, put it through, put vouchers through, pay then get TS n receipt and THEN beckon a SA to see about tags? What do you think guys? Will that be okay?

Had a mixed Bootsing day today....went in armed with so many vouchers I got myself confused!!! I was trying to buy an Oral B toothbrush plus other bits and pieces just to make the total to £50 to get the extra 1000 as also had a voucher for extra 1500 points on Oral B (thanks Ilona). Had sent my boyfriend off to shop elsewhere as he has no patience for my Boots shopping but he came back too soon and was trying to speed me through the tills! We went to the SS tills and I take back all the prasie I gave them the otehr day as they were being an absolute pain today!!! In the end had to have everything voided off and go to an SA. Bless her though she was a treasure and just tried all the vouchers I had. The result however was that I ended up not spending £50 so didn't get the extra points and would have been better splitting the transactions into seperate ones to try and get lots of till spits. Anyway, this is what I bought:

    * 2xHuggies Newborn Kits (containing 27 newborn nappies, a pack of baby wipes and a pair of Disney baby socks) BOGOF so £5 for both.

    * A pair of Robin Pyjamas, with matching little slipper shoe things and a RM mirror. Mirror kicked in as freebie with the 342, and I had a voucher for the 20% off if you spend £15 on mini mode so the Pjs ended up as £8 from £10 and the shoes were £4.80 from £6. But till then took off £5 for the TS I had and another £5 for the Pinky!

    * Bought an Oral B 8500 electric toothbrush reduced from £69.98 to £34.99 and managed to use 3 different £5 off vouchers (electrical TS, electrical glossy and an electrical mailing) with a 1500 points voucher!

*Then bought some more brush heads for the toothbrush reduced from £10.99 to £7.32 and another £3 off voucher which was sent to me (thanks again!)

In total that all came to £32.11 with 1648 points back so I think that was good but I should have split the shop into different £5 amounts or have bought more to make my sale up to £50 to get the extra points. Was too stressed by boyfriend to have a proper look at all the bits that I could have bought with the vouchers that Broclo sent so sorry for that Broclo, blame my boyfriends complete lack of patience!!!!

Just in case anyone was looking for it, Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh has the S&G skincare range in. It also has the R&M mirror compacts and lots of the R&M half price offer, plus No7 mirrors.

Have to say though I was wandering around tonight with five pinkies in my purse wondering if there was anything I actually wanted. The cupboards are overflowing with the spoils of all the Boots glitches of the past year. So I contented myself with a No7 Trimmer (£5.99 less pinkie = £0.99), a jar of TD moisturiser on offer (£9.99 down to £5.99, used mailing voucher for 300 pts + AC voucher for another 100 pts), some ibuprofen and some nappy bags. Spent £8.21, got 408 points and another pinkie. One thing I have discoverd this year is how much I like TD!

So I still have five pinkies and no enthusiasm. I'm not interested in spending £50 to get extra points, has to be said, because I'd rather not spend cash on bits and bobs that I don't really need just to get "free" stuff with points in the 75% off sale. I think I have about £20 worth of gifts on my list at present....so my reasoning is, I'd be better off keeping that other £30 in my purse to spend on cheap stuff in the sale. More stuff in the end.

Sure. I don't see why not. I don't take stuff back for exchange/refund very often either, but whenever I have I've never had a problem:D

I don't think anyone has posted this, because if they have, I have missed it.

When I was buying yet more wipes for DD today, I mentioned that I really wanted the FCUK overnight bag for my daughter, but did not want to pay £40 for it, and there probably wouldn't be any left to go in the sale, the very nice No7 SA told me it was going to be one of the half-price offers, along with a couple of the No 7 big giftsets.

This is the bag I am talking about. The picture does not do it justice.

NOOOOOO WAYYYYY I used up 4000 ac points on this yesterday

    Got on the 3-4-2 offer:
    Fcuk weekend bag 4000 points
Iggle Piggle pyjama casy 1500 points
    Teletubbie toy thingy free

I can't take it all back as ds has already had the Iggle Piggle. Any suggestions on what to do?? Would have been able to get 3 of these bags for 4000 points when it goes half price
